Demo Field Session at 2016 NSCAA Convention in Baltimore

Yesterday I delivered the first presentation in the NSCAA Convention. A practical session with the title “Soccer-Chess” – Positional play and overloads through the thirds.

The session was a methodological progression of three drills, when I come back to the routine I will share it from this blog.

1. Double rondo in diamond (4×2+1)
2. Positional Possession in three thirds ((GK+7) vs (GK+7)+1)
3. 3v2 Finishing: Rondo 4v2 + 3v2 Finishing

Sharing knowledge and experiences with coaches from all around the globe is so gratifying. Also presenting in front of such a big crowd is something impressive you but I’ve really loved it. There aren’t enough words to thank all the affection signs and words I am receiving from part of the attendants and profession colleagues. Finally I will like to thank the players who showed a great level and made possible that the session was a success. Hope this afternoon presentation, this time in the room as a lecture version goes as well or even better. I will talk about the coaching philosophy behind this coaching method.
